Every aspect of your home is researched thoroughly to ensure you make the best material, construction, and design choice.

When building a home the amount of choices can be overwhelming. That is why it is so important to hire an experienced luxury home builder that considers all of the options and knows how to utilize the expertise of many different trades to come up with the best solution for you. There are dozens of different aspects to residential home construction that could be considered and with Keeter Custom Homes you can be sure we have researched each aspect to make certain that you build a home that considers the functionality, aesthetic, and longevity of your investment.

The most important piece of your home is the foundation. We specialize in complex elevations that require complex foundations. From walk-out basements to building houses several feet from the waters edge we have proven experience with complex slabs.

We pride ourselves on communicating and managing your project from initial design, to design selections, and all the way through the construction process.

Large projects often times involve several different professionals that provide instructions regarding the construction of your home: architects, general contractors, sub contractors, inspectors, draftsman, and interior designers. Sometimes it is difficult to keep all of the things these different trades recommend in balance. We abide by the principle of extreme ownership which means we approach the construction of your home like we are building our own home. We put ourselves in your shoes and listen to all of the options to be sure you make the right choice for you. We take responsibility throughout the entire process to make certain that there are no loose ends and everything is completed to your satisfaction.

Managing Costs

We seek out the highest quality, most cost effective materials and contractors

Since we approach the construction of your home like we are building our own home we are very careful to choose trades that are reasonably priced and competent in their specific field. We look after your interests by using an established list of trades that we have used for many years. We hold our contractors accountable to proper construction practices and do not settle for inferior work. After all, we consider your home our home until we hand you the keys.

Functionality

During the process of design and construction we listen carefully to what you want

We strive to be more than order takers. We take responsibility to make sure you get what you are looking for. This means that while we listen to what you ask for we think ahead regarding the greater implications of your construction and design choices. This means that if you are making a decision that doesn't ultimately accomplish your goals we will tell you and advise you regarding the most cost effective choices you could make that accomplish your design and functionality goals.

Longevity

Making smart construction choices

We take care to look at the opinions of many when it comes to a material choice. Sometimes it feels like there are an infinite number of design options and we take it upon ourselves to make sure that the product you choose is a product that will hold up. During the process we think long term because we build your home like it is our home. We imagine what will happen 10 years down the road and that compels us to be sure that the construction is done right to increase the longevity of your investment.

Client Testimonials

Finding a home builder can be a difficult process. The amount of information you receive from different builders during the planning process can be overwhelming. It can be difficult to decipher all of the differences in each builders process and pricing. While we would love the opportunity to talk to you about how we structure the custom home building process and how we make it a pleasant experience for our clients every step of the way, we do believe our clients provide the most valuable information about us that you can find.

The questions our clients answered were not identical but they were similar. Below is a list of some of the questions our clients answer in the video below:

How did you get started working with Keeter Custom Homes?

Did we respect your budget?

Would you recommend others work with Keeter Custom Homes?

How often were we on the job?

How often/easy was it to communicate throughout the process?

How did we deal with changes to your design or plan?

Do you feel like it is a well built house?

What was your favorite part of the process?

How did we go above and beyond your expectations?
